World edit is an awesome tool which lets you edit a world's terrain effortlessly. You can remove multiple blocks, add multiple blocks, et cetera.
How do you use it?
Simple.
There are quite a lot of commands, but I will do the most simple.
//set
Sets a block in between the marked positions. (//set <block ID>
//walls
Like //set, mark out an area, then use //walls <block ID>. Makes walls.
//move
Moves selected blocks. (North, South, East and West) (//move <direction>
//undo
Undo's the last thing you did. (//undo)
//expand
Pretty obvious. (//expand <direction>)
