I'm literally on the verge of abandoning creative. Along with some others.

Creative can crash/restart for various reasons. The developers work to get it back up and it may take time. Things will be sorted out soon, we ask you to please be patient while it’s being fixed. Thanks!

It was confirmed by a developer that the cause of the crashes is due to a specific region which is causing a powerful impact on the server. The developers are working towards finding the region as fast as they can to fix the issue, but until then there's nothing we can do. We understand the persistent restarts can be frustrating, however this may take time so please be as patient as possible.

As mentioned in Discord, this specific issue as far as we're aware is now resolved. While we can't rule out that it won't happen again in the future, it should be currently considered resolved and we'll be looking into a solution for the future.
