What if
What if, oxygen really killed us, it just took a certain amount of years to work.
What if everything we see, hear touch, smell and taste was just our imagination.
What if, there was a parallel universe where our favourite characters watch tv shows and movies about us, they read books about us. They run blogs and write fanfictions about us.
What if, this is all a dream and I will wake up seven years old again on holiday with my family. ?
What if? What if…?

Emily, an average girl with a not so average life. She’s the ‘strange’ one at school. The ‘quiet’ one in her family. What no-one knows is that in a different world, one made up in her head, she is the coolest person. In her head, everyone loves Emily, in her head, Emily is a different person. But to everyone else, she is weird and strange. She doesn’t mind it that much though, she kinda likes being weird and mysterious. Emily just wishes she had someone who liked her, someone who would be her friend. Just someone.
Emily tries not to care about what people think. She forces herself to not care, to look away and pretend like nothing happened. But deep inside, she wants to fix what is wrong. She wants to make everyone love her. But at the same time, she just wants to be herself. To express herself in whatever way she can without the pain of others views. This is partly the reason she lives half her life in the world in her head. Because the people in her head, don’t judge her. Infact, they love that the sixteen year old girl can dye her hair many colours, have a few piercings and can express herself in whatever way she wants. In real life, it isn’t like that at all, and that is what Emily envy’s. She absolutely hates it so she makes up ‘what if’s’ to pass the time.
Monday morning is without doubt, the worst day of the week for an average teenage student. If you add to that a girl that doesn’t fit in and a lot of bullies, you get something a lot worse than a normal mundane monday morning. The currently blue haired girl gets up at 6:40am, gets dressed and brushes her teeth. She does her makeup (one thing she loves to do to express herself) and gets her school bag ready. Eventually at 7:40, Emily goes off to school, not forgetting her phone, earphones and gum. She plugs her earphones in straight away and puts on her favourite band, Panic! At The Disco. Emily loves all sorts of music, artists like Melanie Martinez, Sia and P!ATD are her favourites. Time pases quickly on her journey to school, and sadly it is over, she is approaching school. The girl walks through the gates and to the empty toilets where she normally meets her one friend, Esme. Esme and Emily have been friends for years, since they both got labeled the strangest girls in the school. They decided to meet at these toilets years ago, they are the quietest place in the school, meaning the girls can have peace for a bit longer, even if it is only ten minutes. When Esme arrives, they chat for a bit and go on their phones. However before they know it, it is time for the first lesson of the day. Prepare for torture..
