What happened to "God Items" In creative?

This started lately. God Items started to lose their buffs. How? Well, if you went into your innovatory and the "God Item" was in you innovatory, it would Lose its Buffs! So I'm wondering, Is this a Glitch or is this meant to happen? If it is a glitch, Please fix it ASAP. But is it is meant to happen, I'll just have to play without "God Items" On MCPZ creative. Inventory*. What do you mean by lose their Buffs?
 
"God items" cause some players to crash and lag and some can even be quite destructive. It was for these reasons that I had no choice but to disable "God items".
