Ok, I don't mean to attack anyone, but I have noticed a few staff (the only one I remember is @Grac3h) that had their VIPs given to them by other players. Now, I'm all for generosity, but come on! If they're given the rank, it doesn't show dedication to the server. It's like applying for a job that requires a specific shirt to be bought by them and worn. Now, the rule is you have to HAVE the shirt and the shirt has to be bought by that store. So, if someone gets it for you, Isn't that cheating a job? It doesn't show that YOU are dedicated to the store, it shows that the person that BOUGHT it for you is dedicated to the store. So, it makes no sense to me.

If they wanted that rank in the first place it shows dedication, if they don't seem to be dedicated to the server they won't be accepted.

Even if that is so, there are many others factors that come into play when being a Helper. Someone can be dedicated to the server but not be able to afford a rank at the same time. If they aren't mature and dedicated they won't be accepted, as stated above.

Well personally, I believe the people who get a rank on the Network from any source is then dedicated to Network. Most people with ranks tend to stick around longer, and spend most their time on it because: They don't want to have wasted their money/their friends money etc.
Plus, when people make an application it's clear to see whether they are truly dedicated or not, as stated above.

Dedication has multiple ways of being shown, such as a player without a rank could purchase other player ranks instead of themselves, which still shows their dedication towards the network. Furthermore, this default player could be extremely active, meet all the requirements for Helper excluding the rank requirement, but still not being able to get a rank. Everyone dedicates to Partyzone somehow, just in ways you don't know about/think about. You used Grac3h as an example, yes, her friend could have bought her a rank but still, she is an amazing Helper, skilled and is extremely dedicated towards Partyzone, even if she hasn't donated towards it. I'd also like to add on that I've never once bought a rank for myself on here but does that mean I'm not dedicated and shouldn't have a staff rank?

I would have never bought the rank for her if she wasn't as dedicated to as she is, and her promotion to helper only More SO showed her dedication, whether she bought the rank or not, I firmly believe she deserves her current position.

That's your opinion and I'm totally fine with opinions; I just didn't feel why it was necessary to tag me in this. I don't feel the need to explain myself, but all I will say is it was a Christmas gift.

If you get rank in any way it shows that you have a dedication to this server even if they didn't buy it themselves there is nothing wrong with this. So don't hate appreciate!!

Well, there are other things that they did to get staff. It was the persons choice to buy it for them, I guess maybe someone found that person so helpful so they bought them a rank
