If you are a fellow Elite/Elite+ like me then this is for you, maybe idk lol.
So sometimes people msg me about helping them while I'm busy atm, but you don't really want to like say "Sorry no im busy" because they probably tried asking like 5 other Elites to help them. And you don't want to turn off your msg because your messaging a friend, but you keep getting help requests left and right sometimes idk. So for people who need help should have a command like /msg {Name-Help} then message, and if Elites are busy atm they should have like /nomsghelp. So they can still talk to their friend on msg but not get annoying sometimes help requests.

I can see why people wouldn't want to to be accepted, but sometimes I'm busy and talking to a friend on msg and randomly get a help request, so yeah.

Thanks for reading I guess

I have a consern about this. What if the user doesn't use the help version of /msg?

But I think that instead of this, they add a command where you can only get msges from friends
Agreed, i hate being msgd by random people, who either ask for help randomly, or start saying rude things. Other wise, with friends i know they wont do that, and if they did, I'd simply unfriend them. Not for asking for w/e help, for being rude.., so either way i like foxes suggestion. I say its less complicated.

It is sort of pointless. The simple way around being harassed about it is telling them no and if they keep messaging you, you can /ignore or /block them, and/or contact a staff about the problem.

Before I was a staff member, I was an elite and I did get people asking me a lot if I could do world edit for them. I never once had an issue with saying "no" or "I'm busy". Also, in a majority of my cases, they asked me in public chat, not in msg.

Though the idea seems like a good idea, there are ways you can stop people from messaging you while still letting others like your friends to message you by what Amandq said above /ignore or /block and as well get a staff member. I think its just easier doing one of the three rather then adding a new command which many people won't remember or will mix it up with simply turning off messages.
