How does the messaging system work? I know Ive asked this but Im talking about the messages that earn you points? Are they from the messages that you PM to people? or what?
 
If you are referring to the messages that correspond to your profile stats (as you can see under everyone's picture when they post), that is a total sum of all threads and replies you have posted on the forum. If a post is deleted though, this number will go down as it won't count as a message anymore :p

Private Messages don't equate to this number I'm afraid, apologies for the confusion from your last question :)
