Do you stay banned forever or after a certain amount of time you get unbanned?

If you were banned permanently then yes, it means forever. If you can clearly prove you weren't in the wrong in a ban appeal, you will be unbanned. Please also remember to refrain from spamming ban appeals. Locking thread as question has been answered.
