Hey there! I know I'm not really new to the server, but I wanted to do this anyways.

I was born in the United States. My dad was an engineer and my mom was a stay-at-home parent; I also had a sister that was 7 years older than me. At age one, I moved across the country. In my new home, I didn't have very many friends. I did get a dog when I was 4, but the highlight of this time was meeting my best friend, Sami.
The two of us stuck together through thick and thin. We were the best of friends, and we still keep in touch even today, 8 years after I met her.
Friends came and went. They moved away or they became jerks and I let go of them. Sami, though, was always there. I was moderately bullied, though rarely did it become serious; mostly, people just ignored me. When I was 9, I met another close friend that I still keep in touch with, Grace.
Everything flipped on its head in the year 2013. I found out about my allergies: corn, wheat, hay, pollen, dust mites, mold, and too many other things to keep track of. In addition, I was diagnosed with asthma. These discoveries caused drastic change in my life and have affected my personality long-term (mostly in a good way). But that's just the beginning.
That summer was the one in which my sister, now age 18, had to move out for college. She still attends college today. I had a good relationship with her, so her moving out really hurt me. I'm fine, though; she stills Skypes with me.
Later that year, my parents told me of a plan to move across the ocean. I was reluctant to comply. The friends I had, including Sami and Grace, would be crushed... but it happened. February 2014, I moved. I have great friends where I am now, but nobody like Sami.
Well, I hope you learned a thing or two about me. Now I have a sweet female tabby cat named Cricket and a big fluffy beast of a dog named Buddy.

Wow. Just wow, I feel bad for you at the part where you get diagnosed with asthma and you find out about your allergies :( I can relate, I have had an allergy to DOGS of all things and a lot of food! :(

My allergies aren't that big of a deal tho...
I mean, I can still have pizza, that's all that matters :p

LOL. Always count on Missy to make things positive. The Universe Exploded, "well at least we went out with fireworks :D"

LOL that's tru :p

That's a talent I have that I'm quite thankful for :)
...
actually in real life I'm quite the pessimist (or a realist, they're pretty much the same thing)
But honestly, I like to find the good in bad situations. I take note of how these situations develop my personality positively (mostly so I can write characters more accurately but whatever) and that's kind of all I see.
My allergies make me who I am. I'm proud of them, actually. They have made me into an independent, mature young woman who is grateful for the smaller things in life <3
