I stepped on the steps to board the plane. I was ready" This is gonna be a smol trip!" Said Lizzie, who was excited to go to Ethiopia. We had won plane tickets there for a game show, Are You A History Nerd? We had won the last round over in the US, with our friend, Aiden. We were a group of 4, including our friend, Hidoshi. "Why are we even doing this?" Hidoshi asked. "I thought you liked history. Plus, money!!" I chirped. "Oh, right, the money. 100,000 bucks for each of us!" We shuffled down to our seats on the plane.
"Please, fasten your seat belts. We will be taking flight in 5-10 minutes."
"I am so hyped, I don't even know why, I guess I am for the money," Aiden admitted. "Who doesn't want money?" Lizzie asked. "Idk," I replied.
"We will now be taking flight. If you have not, please fasten your seat belts. This is flight 892 to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. If you are on the wrong fight, please tell a flighty have attendant and they will assist you off of the plane. We will now discuss safety issues. Please, pay attention now. (You actually might not want to skip over this and read this. I know it's a lot, but you should read it all.) If we say the plane is crashing, please, take one of the oxygen masks above you and duck down under your seat. If the plane is in real danger, please, do not panic. Take a life vest and the flight attendants shall assist you down a rope ladder and you will land safely somewhere. If we are over water, we will drop down a life boat. If you know how to swim, assist others who do not. And remember, children under 17 go down first. Then parents, then everyone else over 18. We hope you enjoy your flight, and that no dangers happen." "Wowee, that was long," I said. "True," Hidoshi agreed, softly, "I wish they'd just put all of this in a pamphlet." The plane took off. "Whoa!" I shouted as the plane took off, and everyone including me shook around the plane. "Hmm.. Do you guys think that something cool'll happen while we're over at Adidas Abayba, Ethoopie or whatever?" Aiden asked. "Addis Ababa, Ethiopia," I corrected. "Whatever," Aiden shrugged. "But, yeah, something fun could happen," I said, as if Aiden said nothing. Lizzie opened her mouth. "I'd be cool if we won..." "Yeah! I think we can do it! We're all smart, here, and money is awesome!" Hidoshi exclaimed for the first time in forever. "We're all in this together!" I shouted. We all high fived eachother at the same time. "Let's do this!" We all shouted.
