The really long and boring journey:
Kudos if you were capable of reading it all.
I was very young when I first got a Sega genesis. I used to play Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, Batman and Sonic with my cousin.
Then I got a PS1 for my birthday. I played Tarzan, The Lion King, and Crash Bandicoot.
That stopped working so I got another PS1. It was Crash Bash all the way. Oh and PEPSI MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN.
One of my neighbors had a PS2 with GTA SA. That's when I got interested in GTA SA and I got A LOT of modded and pirated copies of GTA(Superman CJ, Hulk CJ, the Mask CJ, Spiderman CJ, a fake ripoff GTA:SA 2). But they were relatively cheap so my stupidity wasn't too much of a burden on my parent's financial state.
I played things like Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Burnout Dominator, Need for Speed, Jak and Daxter, Jak 3 and GTA SA mentioned above.
So later I got a Wii. And Wii Sports boxing was exhausting but still amazing. And Tennis too(can't believe I'm actually saying this). I also got to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy 2. And biking in Wii Fit plus for an hour exploring the whole island thing. I modded Super Mario Galaxy 2 on it and I could even get myself to be able to fly. I'd fly around everywhere with that cheat.
I got addicted to COD Black Ops Zombies on this console.
The most important part of my gaming life began when I got into PC gaming.
Before the major shift towards the PC, I was more inclined towards online games on websites like Miniclip and Club Penguin(which was fun for the time being).
I got interested in Minecraft but I couldn't buy it so I played in Cracked servers. I found it to be fun.
At first I started up single player and I spawned in the middle of the jungle in a hole and I didn't even know that you had to hold the left mouse button to actually break something so I was struggling to break leaves and dirt. I deleted the world and later made a new world. I still didn't know about the "Punch Wood first" ideology that every experienced Minecrafter knows about so I made a dirt house and when it was night, I hid in my dirt house. Which had no windows and no door. How did I start mining? I dug straight down. With my fist.(How to mine like a man:
1. Dig straight down with fist.
2. Fail miserably) I discovered that I could mod the game and get console commands after that and I just gave myself diamond armor and I messed around with a compass(my spawn point was in a desert).
I had made friends in some servers. We had adventures in mining expeditions, making one big underground facility where all of us lived(I called the Alchemy room "Ultran the Wizard's Alchemy room". On this one server, we made a ship/castle into a hill and we were also trolled a little by a staff member. I can say this now that there were a lot of immature people I met and some very foolish owners and admins. I can't believe I was made to become an admin a few times. I was so stupid that my first server's advertisement was "FREE OP FOR BUILDER". And then my server was horribly terribly griefed and bans and hackers constantly came into the server. I got it under control after I shut it down and installed some security plugins but the server was still terrible so it was later made completely private.
After watching some YouTube Minecraft videos, I wanted to buy the game so my dad bought an account for me which was kind of a problem because he was having an issue with online purchases and PayPal specifically but it worked out fine in the end.
In my earlier days in Minecraft, I had become a hacker. Being a hacker really did feel compelling. Nobody could catch me, I got good stuff faster and I had an advantage over other players.
It wasn't until I started playing on MineZ(which became my favorite server back then) that people got suspicious of me without me realizing. I probably got reported and was banned by an admin.
I couldn't play on it anymore. I tried to get a ban appeal but that was rejected. It seemed to me that the only way to get back in there would be to get a different account.
My uncle lived in the US so I asked him to buy one those Minecraft premium cards which were being sold in the US(I found that out from Mojang's website). He mailed it to me here and I activated it. And that was the birth of Dynam_Rezinor.
I vowed to never ever hack again(I actually did hack once again as Ultran on another cracked server but ultimately stopped). I decided that I might as well get in good with the community so I joined the forums and it turned out that people were really nice. I started spending more and more time on the forums and that's where I started sticking to forums.
When MineZ and Shotbow's other games were brought together and the websites were changed and turned into one central hub, I left that community. I stopped feeling like I was a part of it so I left.
I watched a lot of CaptainSparklez's videos after that. From him, I discovered the spiritual ancestor to MCPZ, Armada Craft.
It felt just the way I felt at the MineZ forums. It was where I first met people like @gigosaurus , @GamerGuts and @GreenUprooter
After a while, Jordan(CaptainSparklez) decided that it wasn't really working out on ArmadaCraft so he abandoned the server and it was pretty much gone after that. I was sad because some of my closer friends left too.
The few remnants of Armada Craft decided to make a server of their own which was called Party Zone at the time. I visited the site when they were still using Enjin for the forums and I admit, I wasn't very interested in it. Gun Game was amazing though, even if it was in Alpha/Beta testing.
I played some amazing games like Dishonored and addicting ones like CoD: BO2 Zombies.
I started playing Skyrim during this time and I got into some crazy fiasco about the illuminati and almost got suspended from school. Now I can't ever play Skyrim.
One day, I got curious about what these guys were doing with Party Zone. So I found out about the newer forums(the one before this one) and I kind of got interested because of Infection. When Infection stopped, I was really sad. Then I migrated to these latest forums with everyone else back in June of 2014. I got more and more attached to the forums. I was also obsessed with likes and post count(for those of you who still care about this: stop. It's pointless).
I started playing games other than Minecraft more often. Indie games, Triple AAA games. Half-Life, Portal, TF2, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Borderlands, Fallout, Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Battlefield, FIFA 15, Final Fantasy VI, Ori and the Blind Forest and still counting.
I left for a little bit and then came back here on the forums. And it's been great ever since.
