Here's a short story i started, should i continue?
April lived on Mango Street, in Oahu, Hawaii. The natives told tales of the monster Kuro. A bird-like creature with sharp talons, and was cruel and vicious, they also spoke of a man- serial killer actually, who roamed Hawaii. One night, April was walking down Shi Street when she heard something swoop overhead. April, fearing it maybe something large and dangerous, went faster. Then, she saw a man hiding in the shadows whispering: "Careful child, don't want to get hurt!" at first, the man was cloaked in shadow, so hard to see. then, he left the scary shadow and stepped into the flickering streetlight. He was tall, pale, skinny, and dark-haired. he had a black hoody stained with red. Oh no... is this that cereal killer guy? April thought. Then, the man ran... towards her. April took off running, fearing she may be murdered before school ended. As she turned on Mai street, she gasped, and fell over...
