"Okay, the legend said the entrance was over here." I said. Kitty and I believed in a lot of the legends that we read. But not all of them turned out to be true, which was not surprising. But Kitty and I have a strong feeling about this one, hopefully it will be true. Kitty and I finally reached the part of the mountain where the entrance should be. Kitty stepped infront of me and pulled away the new grown bushes and thickets. For a few minutes, everything was quiet and still. All of a sudden my ears tensed, a crunch was heard behind us. Kitty whipped around, and so did i. It was only a little hedgehog, it was very cute.
"AWWWWHH!!!!" Kitty said. The hedgehog blinked and scurried into the bush. I just shook my head and sighed.
"Keep pulling the bushes apart." I said, struggling to heave a giant log away from the bush. Kitty nodded and got back to work. She gasped and gripped the grass. I ran over and looked into the bush, i saw a tunnel leading straight into the mountain.
"NO WAY!" I whisper shouted. Kitty jumped with happiness and crawled through the tunnel. I followed kitty for what seemed like ages. But then Kitty's foot slipped and she grabbed hold of the dirt.
"It's right here!" She gasped, and let go of the dirt. She landed on the hard stone a 2 ft down. I took a safer approach and climbed my way down. I saw what the legend told, lava oozing, water dripping, cracked stone and moss. I couldn't believe what i saw. Kitty was squinting at one of the hallways, she seemed to be looking at something. I looked and saw a girl with long blue hair, her back was pushed against the wall and she was looking around it. She seemed to notice that SHE was noticed, because she ran down the hall.
"WAIT! COME BACK!" I shouted. I grabbed kitty and ran to the hall. The girl was at the end of it, she had a diamond sword in her hand. She held her sword sideways infront of her.
"Hi! My name is Kitty and this is Alvin. We heard about a legend called The Legend Of The Fox and we thought we should see if it's true! We aren't hostile, we're actually really friendly!" Kitty shouted across the hall. The girl narrowed her eyes, but slowly put down the sword.
"My name is Hedge," The girl said, "and what do you know about The Legend Of The Fox?"
