DISTRICT FIVE
Red hugged the body that was sobbing onto his jacket, His jacket was ripped and torn, "It's your first year of the hunger games." Said Red, "Don't stress." Aiden, Red's little brother, looked up at Red, his eyelids leaking with tears of scarce. "B-But..." said Aiden, "Im scared--- WHAT IF IM PICKED!??!?" he stuttered. "Aiden, calm down, tell me how lucky you would be if you got picked so easily." Red let Aiden down slowly, so that his tears started to dissolve; "I know." Said Aiden. Red knelt down and rubbed Aiden's tears away.
Crowds of different genders stood apart, Red stood a while away from Aiden, But Red could not help but stare at Aiden, incase he broke out into tears, or something.
"WELCOME, TO THE 18TH ANUAL HUNGGGGEEERRRR GAAAMMMMMESSSSS!" shouted the person on the stage; "Today we will pick two people to compete in the hunger games! A boy, and a girl." said the person, a servant in rags wandered over and handed the man on the stage a box, in the box was the names of the GIRLS.
The man shuffled his hand around in the box, "AAaaaaannnnddd..." exaggerated the man, "Kona Geo!"
Red shook his head sideways to the blue-haired girl with the red eyes, Kona, Red's friend.. They had been friends since children. Red poked his head outside of the crowd of boys to see Kona be escorted onto the stage.
"Kona! Hahaha!" said the man. "Welcome to the Hunger Games, do you have any words of wisdom, or gratitude to go to your family?" said the man, softly. "I-I... umm..." stuttered Kona. "N-No thanks..".
Kona stood against the wall at the back of the stage, she was looking at Red, she was going bright red.
"Aaaaaaannnnnnddddd for the boyssss!" Hissed the man,
"ITZ AIDEN!" Shouted the man, some boys pushed Aiden out of the crowd. "AIDEN!" shouted Red, bursting out of the crowd too, the soldiers surrounded Aiden and pointed their guns at Red. "I volunteer, instead of Aiden!" hissed Red. Aiden ran to Red and hugged him, before Aiden was shoved back into the crowd.
Red smiled at Kona, but all Kona could do was look. "Aaaaannnnddddd a-who may you be?" said the man, holding the microphone up to Red. "Red Graphics" said Red. "Well its nice to meet you, Red!" Now stand over there so I can take your picture! The man turned to the crowd. WELCOME, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, TO THE 18TH ANNUAL HUUUNNNGGGEEERRRRR GAAAAMMMMEESSS, DISTRICT FIVE!"
DISTRICT SEVEN
Diamond banged his head on the wall. The intense moments of the traumatic Hunger Games were unfolding again. Diamond's father died in the hunger games... He did NOT want to be next in line.
Huntress was in Diamond's class, Diamond was friends with Huntress, they had been friends since they were children, (like Kona and Red,)
Diamond saw the district five members be chosen, the look on their faces, and someone volunteered... Who would have the guts to do that? In other words.. Why do that?
The two crowds gathered again, the people already picked lined up, too, Huntress smacked Diamond on the back and gave him a thumbs-up before running off into the different crowds. "WWEEEELLLLCCCCOOOOMMMEE!" Shouted the commentator, "TO THE 18TH ANNNUUAAAALLL HUUNNGGGEEERRR GAAAMMMEESS!". Diamond felt like dying right there, right then. Same with Huntress. Huntress saw her mother on the sidelines, Her mother worries a lot. her mother worried when Huntress did not get up and get the post from the door. "AAAANNNDDD FOR THE GIRLS," Diamond and Huntress had been ignoring the man chatting, they listened in. The man ruffled his hands around. "X_HUNTRESS_X!" He shouted. Huntress tried ducking down, but a soldier saw her and kicked her out of the crowd. Diamond burst out, he didn't know what he was doing. "AH, HELLO, HUNTRESS, GO STAND NEXT TO THE 'DISTRICT SEVEN' SIGN OVER THERE!" He shouted, Huntress noticed Diamond running up the stage steps, "Diamond!" She shouted, "I volunteer!" Shouted Diamond,
The man held a mic up to Diamond, "EXCELLENT! HUNTRESS, AND.. ARE YOU 'DIAMOND'?" He said. "Yes, How do you know?" Said Diamond. "HUNTRESS OW'A HERE SHOUTED YA NAME WHEN YA RAN UP THE STAIRS!" Diamond went Red, so did Huntess. Diamond got hold of Huntress' shirt and nudged her, "come on.." He whispered to her. "NOW GO STAND OW'A THERE!"
