Red collapsed to the floor in searing pain. Kona screamed and threw a knife at this person who stabbed him, They were now dead, Red WAS alive, he lay on the floor, Diamond ran over and help them drag him into the trees, as a team was guarding the middle.
Huntress put her hand on Kona's shoulder. Red was not breathing well. Diamond saw another team coming, "Come on, help me!" Shouted Kona, trying to drag Red. "Leave him!" Shouted Huntress back, "Or you'll be next!"
Huntress saw that Kona was not listening, so Diamond went and dragged Kona out into the jungle, the team that was coming TO them looted Red for his stuff, then left his body there, though he was still breathing, and alive.
The dome made a loud thump noise, then a loud music came on, the tributes to the people that had died. Kona and Huntress were on watch, it was night. Diamond was fast asleep.
They watched closely,
"DISTRICT TWELVE - NONE"
Kona looked at Huntress.
Huntress looked at Kona. "Kona, we can't go back, they looted him, I saw" Said Huntress, "I know, but... still. It hurts." Said Kona, "I know, but we can't go back. If he's alive, Im sure he's holding his own." Replied Diamond, who was now sitting up on the bed. "I have an idea," replied Diamond again, "Follow me"
Diamond grabbed hold of the branch and hauled himself up, they sat on the top of the tree watching. "If we see anyone, or hear them, we'll be safe up here" "Good idea," said Huntress.
Kona, Diamond, and Huntress woke up to searing pain in their bodies, There was a white gas floating towards them, and it was piercing their bodys, "Run.. Get the rope, now!" Demanded Diamond. Kona and Huntress lowered themselves, Diamond followed. They ran through the trees as the gas closed in, Kona tripped but got back up.eventually the gas caught up, they reached the part where they had seen Red last, he wasn't there. They all tripped over when the gas infected their feet, but suddenly the gas rose in a full, straight line. It could not reach them.
Huntress was thirsty, she thrusted herself into a pond, suddenly the infection in her feet, hands, and everywhere else disappeared. "The water - The water helps!" She shouted to Kona, "Huntress, Look, it's Diamond, help!" She shouted, Diamond was in pain, it infected him more than it did for them. Kona and Huntress pushed him into the pond. Where he screamed, it hurt, but it soon cleared.
Diamond sat up and turned himself so he could look out for the girls,
"Guys,"
"Look.. or don't.. just run" He said, straight-forward.
"Red!?" Shouted Kona and Huntress. Diamond dragged them both away, "That is NOT Red anymore. Look at his eyes!" He shouted. "Something has stung him!" "So we CAN'T help!?" Shouted Huntress. "We can, just look at out weapons, then look at his."
"Quick, I hear someone!"
