Chapter One:
It was a typical day for Madison Hoff, getting off the bus to Celvy Middle School, trampling to class, eyeing some jocks on the way, wishing they were hers. She loved this routine, she'd hate for anyone to disturb her. As she walked towards her locker, she stopped, only to see Chelsey Roufves standing in front of her locker. "Hey Chels!" Madison said happily. Chelsey was annoyed that Madison had barged in like that, so there was no answer. Madison began to frown.
The next day, she found out that a new girl was coming to Celvy, since the town was so small, nobody ever moved here, in fact, if you went on vacation and someone asked "Where do you live?" You'd tell them, they'd smile and nod but something about their face told you that they either thought you were crazy or didn't know where the heck it was! In fact, I've never head anyone call our town by name! The new girl had long wavy black hair, emerald green eyes, dressed kind of awkwardly, she was tall and thin as a rail. The thing that poked out about her was her eyes, and a pendant hanging from a her neck. It was a snake charm with little eyes, the same color as hers. Her name was Taylor Ness.
