Once upon a time, Becca and I were just out for a walk, when I saw a strange building. 'What is that?' asked Becca. I told her we should go in and see.
'Wait, what?' said Becca timidly. 'No way I'm going in there! It's creepy enough on the outside!'
'Thanks for being brave Becca,' I said sarcastically. 'I'll just go by myself then.' I walk inside, and Becca follows, mumbling about how I always messed things up. The door closes, and suddenly Becca isn't with me anymore. 'Becca?' I call into the deep darkness. No reply. 'Can you hear me! Becca!' I repeat, raising my voice.
'Patience, young one,' says a misty voice behind me. I turn around and see a boy standing behind me. He's about 17 years old, and he looked as if he was made of smoke.
'Where's Becca!' I cried. 'And who are you?!'
The boy smiled. 'My name is Aventasaurus, though you may call me Avent. We have a lot to discuss, Jessica.'
I was about to ask him how he knew my name, when suddenly a violet tremor shook the earth below me.
I looked back, and saw a strange machine with two capsules. And to my horror, one of them contained...
'Becca!' I yelled. She didn't look up. She looked as if all the energy had been drained out of her.
'She won't wake up.' said Avent. 'unless I use you.'
I lash out with my foot, but Avent flicks his hand, and I go flying across the room. The empty capsule had opened, and I landed straight inside. Avent presses a button, and a thick fog obscures my vision. When it clears, I feel as if I was in a new body. Then I look down and realize I was in a new body, something that looked like Becca. I look at her, and she looks just like me. She even has my TNT bracelet.
'Change us back!' I yell at Avent. He just smiles. 'I have better things to attend to. Meanwhile, get used to your body.' He turns and walks away, leaving me banging on the capsule glass, only with the unconscious Becca next to me.
