The Forbidden Forest~ Chapter 8
The Quest , Part 4
Wren was already set on her quest , When she walked around a corner and saw just a regular house.
Just a regular, Family house. There were to children running around playing outside.
Wren , ''W-why do they look familiar?'' She asked herself.
Wren soon realised that the little girl , Looked like her.
She stared at the little girl , The little girls eyes gleamed green - Unlike hers.
However , The little girls black hair tied in cute space buns and her petite face reminded herself of her as a child. Wren suddenly went back to a time , About 10 years ago, when she was seven.
{Know in the eyes of Wren}
Your playing on a swing with your best friend , Melany.
''Weeeeeeeeeeeee!'' Melany laughed.
Wren jumped of the swing , and hit Melany lightly.
''Tag! Your it!'' Wren said running away.
''Hah, Not for long!'' Melany provoked , running after her.
Wren made a swift right , Unnoticed by Melany and she carried on running.
Wren tried to make a swift and quiet escape and get somewhere she wouldn't be found ,
So she wouldn't get tagged.
Wren had been hiding for at least 5 minutes, and she hadn't heard or seen Melany once.
Wren head back to Swing to look for her.
''Melany? Melany!'' She shouted.
Wren made a sharp right , to see Melany lying on the floor.
Melany had a seared hole going through her chest and had died.
''M-Melany?'' She said shaking Melany's shoulder.
Wren started to cry , Loudly and her parents rushed outside.
''What's wrong honey?'' Kleos asked , Noticing Melany after she had spoken.
''D-did y-you do t-that?'' Kleos asked worried pointing at Melany.
''N-no , S-she got an Ouchy. We need to go to the Doctors , Yes?'' Wren said hugging her mother.
''C-come in side , Please.'' Kleos said looking around for who may have done it.
They walked inside and Kleos locked the door , Wren walked upstairs but turned around just in time to see her mother finishing a spell on the door.
Wren looked out her bedroom window , And Melany's body was gone.
However , a boy about the same age as her stood there. He waved up to Wren , Just when her mother
stormed up the stairs and closed the blinds.
{Kleos' View.}
''No! How do you h-he didn't k--- , Your just a child.'' Kleos said scolding herself.
''C'mon , Go play with your siblings.'' Kleos instructed.
''But what about Melany , Mummy?'' Wren asked , Sadly.
''Play with your siblings! Melany is moving away...'' Kleos said frowning.
Kleos turned around to carry on folding washed cloths , When Melany popped up in front of her.
''Want any help , Wren's mum?'' Ghost Melany asked.
''N-noo..'' Kleos replied confused to how she was there , Someone had to summon her.
Melony disappeared and Kleos carried on to fold the clothes.
10 minutes later.
Kleos walked down stairs , To cook when she saw Wren playing with 'Melany' in the living room.
'It was Wren... How? She's just 7! ... This may not be good... Poor child.' Kleos thought.
''Wren , Come help me with dinner please! We can make some Bagels.'' Kleos shouted through to the living room.
''Okay Mummy! Can we make your special Bagels, With the nice cheese on?'' Wren asked looking up at her mother.
''Of course!'' Kleos said happily , As Melony had disappeared.
Wren shook her head , Waking up from the day dream and the children were gone.
She pulled out her map , and carried on her journey.
''A Forest? Why a Forest? You have got to be kidding me.'' Wren said entering the forest.
