Chapter two, part two,
I wake up in a white and golden room, with beds spaced around the place like a nurses office but... in royal times. I hear people walking towards the area i am in since the room i'm in projects noise loudly, I quickly lay back down and pretend to be asleep.
"Come on girly wake up we know your pretending." A voice says, So i slowly open my eyes and lift my head, it hurts to look at the bright lights around here but I have to show i'm not weak.
"So... This is the girl we have heard about..." the person to the right of me says, and now i can see she is a girl, a teenager, 16-18, blonde hair, yellow-golden eyes and brightening and threatening at the same time.
"So? Where am I and how soon can i leave" I say without wondering where i am.
"Oh don't you want to know where you even are, girl?" someone says to the right of me. I turn and see the boy I saw on the streets.... the one who made me come here! I get up and start running, But someone blocks my path and I freeze.
"Leaving so soon?" The person in the hall puts out her hand to shake, and I take it.
"Hi i'm Izzy." The lady says. She is tall and proud looking, black hair and daring blue eyes, so, so tall..
"Now tell me why your running?" she asks. All i need to do is point to the boy. and i do, thats all i need to do.
"Oh.... Jason, tell me you didn't frighten her!" She says in a loud tone,
"She was running. I had to catch her, and then when she got attacked by the demon, I had to put a trickery rune on her! it wasn't m-" he gets cut off, a rune? what rune
"YOU PUT A RUNE ON A MUNDANE?! HOW DARE YOU JASON, HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!"
"SHE ISN'T A MUNDANE, SHE IS ONE OF US! CANT YOU SEE?!?!?!" he screams back.
"can i cut in?... whats a rune, whats a mundane, and WHAT are you people!" i say without holding back.
The room has gone silent, I don't think they remember i was still there, I was frustrated, I wan't Chris, I want him to hold me like he always did when i had nightmares at the orphanage, To let me escape reality. But this isnt reality anymore, this is a crazy land that I have supposedly run into, I can't take it anymore I can't hold it in, I WANT TO KNOW WHY THEY BROUGHT ME HERE!
"WHY AM I HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?! I JUST WANT TO GO TO MY ORPHANAGE ALONE! IM NOT SPECIAL, SURELY NOT SPECIAL, SO LEAVE ME ALONE!" I screech at the top of my lungs.
"But you are special! you have an ability... not like the rest..." Isabelle says quietly
"Let's cut to the chase little girl, You can control things... well lets not put it that way... you have abilities unlike the rest of these shadowhunters you see here... your dad... his name is Magnus, He had you.. with a shadowhunter but... that was a long time ago, you were stuck in a sleep and eventually you were awoken, as a child, shadowhunter... and warlock..." Says the girl whos name is supposedly emma. I just want to go, go home, wait i dont have a home, i want to go to chris, and thats what im going to do...
I sprint for the doors and hear footsteps behind me. but i keep running, and running, and running, I dont know where, but somehow i reach a door and open it. I dont look whats after me and i hear screaming behind to stop! stop! stop! and once i get dragged in by wind, the last thing i hear is, NO! THATS A PORTAL! she doesnt know where she will g- the voice cuts off.
