Chris walked down the streets of Brooklyn, looking every corner, every shop, anywhere to find Jen. She couldn't have gotten far in this weather, The cold blizzard building up snow. Inch by inch. She could have been kidnapped somehow, maybe mugged. Chris was walking down to the park area when he heard a scream. Jenna... He thought. Chris broke into a sprint down the slippery path of the park, looking here and there, here and there, WHERE WAS JENNA! I know that scream! that was Jenna, I know it was Jenna, Chris thought. And then he was running towards a church, He saw Jen at the top dangling, and 3 people standing at the bottom. They had very weird weapons in their hands... wait kwgatuiwgatw WEAPONS?! Chris's mind went blank! Jenna will get hurt! And thats when the farther most women of the 3 was flung away by some force that was invisible. Maybe they were helping Jenna... Chris turned back to face Jenna and she saw him and gave him the look to run away, but he wouldn't do that! He would help her, But then out of no where Jenna was falling from the church and the other girl- farthest from Jenna leaped into action. The girl was so.. pretty.. golden hair and beautiful eyes, moving like an elegant bird, she jumped up on the church pushed off and grabbed Jenna pushing her in a pond nearby. Jenna looked weak, very weak, so he ran to her screaming her name.
"Oh my god Jenna I shouldn't have let you out of my sight! This is all my fault!" He said.
"I should have let you go, go gogogogo! no, oh no, oh gods I have to get you to the hospital" But no sooner Chris said that a teenage boy - his age came to the scene, The boy had silky wavy hair, not long but not short, just right... It was brown hair and he had Sparking Blue eyes to, Not to muscular but sure enough he could beat you in any fight any day.
"Move mundane, We can take it from here" The boy said.
"NO WAY! Jenna is my best friend I can handle her" Chris shouted.
"MMmmm Jenna her name is, Well then we will bring her back to the institute with us. And you... well you can just go back to where you came from, to your nasty neighborhood" He snarled back.
"Calm down boys no need to fight" The blonde girl came up and said.
"Hi there! I'm Emmmaaa and this is my cousin Jason! Were... going to have to show you around." Emma says.
"Fine, but if i see that any one of you try to HHURT Jenna... I will hurt you." Chris warns.
"Okay, mundane, well come on what are you waiting for? Get Jenna and follow us!" Jason says.
When I look down at Jenna, she looks so different, not the happy girl I saw everyday. She was passed out. Her thick light brown hair shining in the snow and sun, Her skin, Not to pale but not to dark, warm and soft, and her eyes... They weren't open but he can remember those beautiful Silver-like eyes that were always so perfect. He carried Jenna inside the church which looked abandoned at first... but then the scene changed and Chris was still, in the church but it was updated and cozy, there was a fireplace with comfy looking couches in the middle, a nice rug surrounding, to the right it looked like a battle area, combat training room he guessed, and to the left he saw a nice modern kitchen, the typical. and behind the living room/ hangout area there was a hall that had doors to the right and left, bedrooms he guessed. He followed the so called Jason down the hall which Chris thought were all bedrooms but one was labeled -- "Infirmary" and another nextdoor was labeled "Weapons area".
"Wow... you guys do like your weapons don't you? Soooo are you people 'secret agents' or some crap? Cause I just walked into a strangers home, WHICH is an abandoned church ANDDD has a combat room with weapons and probably bombs! Are you going to kill me?" Chris asks. Jason chuckles under his breath and says
"No silly Mundane we are not 'secret agents' at all. We are shadowhunters. And we only let you come here because your little friend here is one of us to... but a bit different." Jason says in return.
"What is it with you calling me a 'MUNDANE' what does that mean! And what even are shadowhunters? Do you guys hunt your shadows and throw food at them?!" Chris says. And the next thing he knows is that Jenna is out of his hands, on the floor and he is pinned to the wall.
"We hunt demons for you puny little Mundanes or as you would like to call it 'humans' Without us, This world would be full with demons and they would be killing humans one by one, we call humans mundanes because Us shadowhunters aren't NOT human but we are.. more advanced" He says.
All this mundane crap is getting my head dizzy, Chris says to himself, And with that he is walked into the infirmary - but first picks up Jenna, and sees how beautiful life can be.
