Echo's life had taken a turn. Her BFF Leo, had said something super mean. Which ended there friendship. Belle, her (other) BFF moved away. And her dog, Pamella got sick
"Do whatever you want, just don't make a mess." Mom had told me. I sighed. She straightened up, like she had an idea. "I know what you can do. Go explore the grove." She said, smiling slyly. We had just moved into a HUGE house with an entire FOREST for a backyard. The Grove was a mysterious and fantasy-like place. I grinned and hopped up. i slipped on my flip-flops and ran to the back door. I could almost see the beautiful rainbow lights that enlightened the center of the grove. I slipped my way between the two entangled trees which made the grove entrance. I never showed anyone the grove since we moved. nobody. not even Leo, when we were friends. When i reached the grove, i saw the ancient, decaying, boards that made a little ladder to where I put an old blanket, so i could lay there. As i was maneuvering around the pond in the center, i saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I snapped up. "Huh?" I said, puzzled. "Anyone there?" No reply. I saw two bright, beautiful blue eyes poke out from the darkness of the trees... "A cat." i whispered, and smiled.
