As cliche as this might sound, everyone in the group has their own weapon of choice. Rena has her metal bat, and Bheryl has her hidden knife, which was a concealed blade in a gauntlet she wore on her arm. She made this weapon herself, as she's quite good at building and experimenting. Zanyas uses a tree branch, which he sharpened on the end with a rock. Bheryl offered to make him a weapon as well, but he prefers using his big stick. No one's really sure why. Mine uses a crossbow, and Emo uses his dagger. These weapons may seem very inefficient, but it's pretty hard to find guns or ammunition in the zombie apocalypse. So they all get their things and leave the warehouse, securing the large metallic double doors with a steel chain. As they walk in the blistering hot sun, Emo pulls up his hood. Emo always wears hoodies, no matter how hot it is outside. The team doesn't know the reason for this, and neither is Emo, really. Heat doesn't seem to bother him. Actually, a lot of their group members have their own weird quirks about them, so, they don't find it too unusual. They've all just learned to accept what life gives them at this point. Anyways, the gang walks down the abandoned dust covered road, with no people or zombies in sight. It's quiet. Obviously, too quiet. The group is suspicious, as usually, they'd be swarmed with Infecteds trying to eat their flesh. But as they get closer to their destination, they hear the screams. The loud shrieks sound like they're coming from behind an old firehouse, so they quickly rush to the scene. What they find is another group of people, but they're hardly as well equipped. A blonde boy is struggling with a zombie, a brown haired girl is is attempting to fend them off with a knife, another girl with pink-purple hair is continuously stomping on the head of another zombie, while another light brown haired girl looks on in horror.
The group acts fast, rushing at the Infecteds with their weapons. Rena bludgeons a zombie with her bat, and Bheryl kills one swiftly with her hidden knife. Zanya and Emo focus on the ones furthest from the group. Mine takes a shot at the zombie trying to eat the blonde boy, but misses, drawing the Infected's attention to him. Mine gasps and staggers back, but before the zombie can devour him, the blonde boy quickly stabs it in the head with the misfired arrow. Mine looks up at him, eyes wide. The other boy helps Mine up with a slight smile, and Mine can't help but blush uncontrollably. Once the cost was clear and everyone was okay, they decided to introduce themselves.
"I'm Arujan, or Sam, whatever you wanna call me." The blonde haired boy waves his hand nonchalantly.
"I'm Malevolently. And this is BooLoo." The brown haired girl says, gesturing to the girl with the purplish pink hair, who stands proudly.
"And I'm Ralfie." Says the light brown haired girl, who takes notice of Emo constantly staring at her and gives him some strange looks.
The group can already tell that things are going to get more interesting.
