Hello! I was thinking of making a little story for you guys where you can sign up

Little information:
Without spoiling it, in stuck alone, 8 students wash up on a mysterious island known as 'Pirates Shore' and nobody is coming to rescue them, what they don't know is this Island is full of death traps and horrors, will any of them survive and be rescued?

Backstory: He lives in a foster home. He was born to a widowed mother; his father had died before he was born. Her mother died from cardiac arrest 2 years later. Gray tries to hide this from most people.
Appearance: Pale skin, thin, 5'10, normally wears something casual like a sweatshirt and jeans, green eyes, short dark brown hair (Shorter on sides than on top).
Why should I pick you: I'd think this character would add an aspect to the story that other characters don't have (No h8 pls x3)

Personality (I added this if that's fine): He's very sarcastic and negative, but proves to always be there for people close to him. He's very secretive, and reluctant to tell anyone about his backstory. He can be quiet at times. He is very intelligent and does very well in school. He can 'think outside the box' and look at problems from a different angle.

ok so this isn't actually me even though there are some similarities here (mostly just the fact that I play the piano. I made most of the other stuff up)

Name of Character: Tony Stark (Just kidding. Levi. Come up with a last name if you want.)
Age: 15
Favourite School subject: Science
Backstory: He had been an outcast in school, and one of the only things that kept him sane was music. He's been playing the piano for several years and knows a lot about music. After battling insecurity and social anxiety, he is no longer afraid to be in front of people. Now he plays and sings on stage quite often, sometimes helping out in a wedding or funeral.
Appearance: He's a late bloomer - still waiting on his last growth spurt, so he's relatively short. Average body weight, medium-pale skin. Dirty blonde/brown hair; hazel eyes.
Why should I pick you: You obviously don't have to pick me at all. I think it would be fun to have a young, male musician/science nerd in the mix. I won't be offended if you don't put me in, though. c:
Extra: He's very lighthearted and happy for the most part, but he still has some rational and irrational fears that he probably won't overcome anytime soon. In stressful situations, he can usually put on a smile despite his nerves. He also loves animals. He can get pretty competitive sometimes, but he hates knowing that he's hurt someone, and will do anything he can to patch things up.
