What’s the point of following people? Like, take Instagram for example. When you follow someone, everything they post appears on your feed. However, forums doesn’t have a feed, so what’s the purpose of following a user?

As you can see, in this screenshot, you have access to your own news feed.
As stated when you click this page, activity streams from all users you follow.
