Apparently here.
I know this won't be a high priority, even if accepted, but it still may be decent later on.

So I find that people still attempt to advertise on the server, and other than staff intervention, are not thwarted. So I thought of an idea. What if suspected links and addresses are only broadcasted to the user, and filtered from everyone else's view.

In an ideal state, it would take an average advertiser, make them think their advertisement went through, when really, no one can see them.

The filter would also unfortunately hit people who are trying to crunch for space in their message, rushed for time, or are not great with English grammar, as the filter recommended would just look at the chat message, scan for periods, and then look at two characters surrounding them. If neither of the surrounding characters are spaces, the message would be blocked to everyone but the sender.

In amendment, the filter may also have a whitelist, allowing some links to pass through (like mcpz.net)

The system would also capture what the user said, and put it in an accessible list of other adverts for the staff to view at their earliest convenience. Items in this list can be cleared as they're dealt with (Similar to how reports work)

Well how will they know which links are allowed? This is a nice system yet they still should be punished for advertisement so would the staff team get notifications on this or will it be stored?

Maybe the system can look for the domain name (Mcpz.net) and whitelist those links. Possibly whenever a user goes and tries to advert, it gives off an alert, containing the message, of which can be stored until the next available staff member can deal with it.

Understandable yet what if these links are linked to mcpz and contain a transfer place to the advertisement. Not exactly sure how it works yet it happens. Honestly the system we have now is fine. Maybe some here or there could need help from time to time yet this just makes problems for staff and people trying to send helpful links.

I just think of these off the top of my head. If I was totally going to try to get this to be a thing, I would be making examples, prototypes and art.

That being out of the way, yea, I can see how the system could be a hassle. But I am still interested in seeing a response from an admin, and what they may have to say about it.
