DizzyBonnett POV-
Livoph looked up and gasped stepping backwards, before falling over a slab of beef. Emo barely glanced at me, running to help Liv up off her feet, nevermind the fact that they had been fighting only seconds before.
I decided that if I didn't want to loose, this was my moment.
I unsheathed the iron axe from my belt and jumped off the tree, landing with a loud thump. My ankle twisted in pain but I ignored it as I charged forward. I lept over to Emo, who was reaching down to help Liv and kicked him square in the back.
A little bit of me dimmed, I was kinda being a bad sport, but you know. Every man for themselves.
He tumbled forward, landing on Liv with an oomph. I heard her squeal, twisting out from under Emo, their limbs flying everywhere, before she was free.
Liv scrambled up off her feet, but I couldn't loose my chance. I swung my axe at her and saw her duck, barely missing the blow.
Unfortunately, this gave Emo enough time to get off of his feet and he lept towards me. As Liv did, I ducked and he grabbed at thin air, nearly falling off the edge of the island. I quickly glanced around for Liv, finding her hiding behind the island's tree and ran after her. When she saw me run towards her, she squealed and lept back, no weapon around her to defend herself.
I ran around the tree, trying to keep up with her, but she was too fast. I wondered at the back of my mind where Emo was at the moment.
"Liv!" I heard a shout, probably Emo, from behind me. Big mistake. Liv turned around at the sound of her name and her eyes widened fractionly as she realized what was about to happen. I had kept charging at her, though she slowed down, and ran into her. She stumbled back, just far enough and skidded off the edge.
"Gg!!!" I heard a loud shout, echoing around the arena, before a cannon went off.
I heard an enraged roar from behind me and realized that I forgot about Emo.
I turned around and a scream nearly left my throat before I was hit.
He panda tackled me to the ground and I found myself gasping for breath as I was crushed beneath him.
I dimly heard a voice shout, "Stop it!" as my vision clouded over and bright spots sparked in my eyesight. My eyes rang as everything went black.
