Why skype for helper cant you just msg?

Skype is for staff evaluations and other subjects that can be discussed. It also lets staff communicate with one another privately without having to be online, in case something very personal needs to be spoken about or such.

We use the messaging capabilities of skype, not the voice or video features. It is a convenient way for staff to ask questions and contact other staff who may be using a pc/mac but aren't logged in to Minecraft. Skype is a requirement for all people applying to be staff.
