Question
As an ex staff member, I know that sudden new rules get passed, and some people so suddenly get warned for something that they use to do that was not against the rules, and they have no idea why they got warned. I have dealt with this kind of situation where they would ask me what they did wrong. Such as the abbreviation rule. Everyone did it all the time. Is there any possible way the server can get notified of a sudden new rule? Even I get scared I'm going to end up breaking a new rule that I have no clue about. For one, some people have no idea forums existed. Yes I know there is an in-game link to it but what if they don't read it quick enough as to not break a rule? I want to know if it is possible for us to be told new rules before we do something we regret. (Like, say it in bold in chat for about a week or so?)

Although this might be helpful, it is not our responsilibly to keep you up to date on every change that is made to the rules. As the rules say:
"The rules are susceptible to change without notification. It's up to you to stay up to date on the rules."

We highly recommend you viewing the change log on the rules frequently.
