There was once a girl named Emma, she lived with her little brother, Thomas, and her two parents.

Thomas was daycare age, so he could walk, talk, and feel affection.

Her parents were in a happy marriage.

Emma was born with a rare disease where her heart can function badly at any time in her life, and it will be fast, slow, and painful.

One day, Emma was twelve, it was the middle of a rainy, November day, when she was rushed to hospital with a piercing pain in her upper chest. She was rushed into theatre, where the doctors noticed that she would need a heart transplant. She was kept in a special room, she could not have any visitors, so the doctors allowed her to skype her parents, if her parents were to come in and trip over one of the wires or pull out a plug, it could kill her.

A month later, with no explanation, she woke up feeling fresh. The doctors and nurses explained that she had been rushed into the operation room and was given a new heart.

She was clear. All clear, her life could go on...

She rushed out into the corridor to find her parents.
"Where's Thomas?" She asked.
Her parents took her into a room and explained that Thomas, her little brother, had been run over by a speeding car going down a road while he was on a walk with the kids and teachers in his daycare, luckily the person was caught and is serving five years in prison;

"They told us the only thing keeping him alive were the machines around him." Her father told Emma while her and her Mom cried.
"We decided we can atleast keep both of you with us," Her Mom said with tears. "So we agreed that the doctors could give you his heart"

i didnt cry but i wANT TO CRY

..... that final part didn't really make any sense. These stories aren't sad at all, they just have some undeveloped character killed.
