"COME ON ASTRO WE HAVE TO RUN!" I shouted desperately. The guards were gaining on us as we had stopped running. "I... can't..." Astro panted, blood dripping from his arm. He looked like he was going to collapse. I looked at the others in desperation, a silent battle going on in my head. What should we do? If we take him we will probably all get caught, and there would be no chance of hiding because of the blood trail, but surely we can't just leave him? I thought to myself. I could see the others were thinking the same thing. Astro looked at us desperately, a pleading look on his face. I didn't know what to do, let him die so we can get away or take him and risk all getting killed? Kona looked like she had made her decision. She looked at Astro with guilt and ran off, tears flying from her eyes. Moon looked back hesitantly, and followed, but I stayed rooted to the spot. "Come on Meepy, there's nothing we can do..." Kona said sadly. I looked at Astro. "I am so sorry Astro!" I cried. And ran off before he could reply.
The guards leapt on him as we ran off. We had sacrificed our brother to get away, I felt horrible. How could I? We found a small cave, and hid inside. We didn't need to hear the boom of a gun in the distance, or the caw of ravens to know.
Astro was dead.
