Hey!

If you aren't aware already, if you are accepted as a helper applicant then you are required to resign as staff on any other servers you may be staff on.

Personally I don't think this is necessary, and honestly pretty inconvenient. Let's say I'm a moderator on another major server.

I worked hard to get that moderator position, sent countless applications and improving every time I was denied. One special day, I found a large green tick on my application form for Helper. I held this position for a year, until I was promoted to Moderator.

So if I sent an accepted helper application here, I have to resign from a position I worked so hard for. To me, that seems like a waste of effort, and time.

I know people may say "You gotta show your utmost dedication to PartyZone!" or "We can't have you working on other things!"

Please. Staff members have lives to get on with. They have friends to go out with and things to do. The exact same principle goes to the other server. If I'm staff on another server, that's none of anyone else's business. I can't be on PartyZone every single free second I get. I want to play on other servers too.

So I'm suggesting that we don't have to resign from other servers for this position. I've literally just stated my reasons above.

If you have any opposing points or have a question, don't be afraid to ask.

Completely, I agree like if you are an admin/developer I understand there can be a data leak for the server you are also on, it seems stupid as Gaurav owns Neme. :p

PartyZone isn't the only server that requires this, huge servers and other smaller servers have this rule in place too for a reason. To my knowledge, Gaur is able to be owner on Neme and PartyZone as Nemegaming is our sister server, and he wouldn't leak any information. He also bought both of them, it’s his job to be owner.

If you want to be Helper on our server but stay a moderator on another server, you'd have to choose which one you would rather be staff on, as you can't be staff on both. I would assume that rule would be on that server too, if that makes any sense.

If you have worked hard to achieve a rank on another server then what would be the point of applying on another network? We have this rule as we don’t want our staff being inactive and spending time moderating other networks, we wish to have active staff who actively participate in moderating the network and dedicated their time to only our network.

Unfortunately, I disagree with this suggestion for a few reasons.

1.) If someone were to be staff on a network, it could take their focus away from being staff on PartyZone. Being staff is a lot of work so if you were to have double the responsibility, you could be distracted.

2.) If you were staff on two networks, you could accidentally or purposely leak information. Obviously this is very bad for our server and can't be allowed to happen.

Anyway those are the main two reasons that I could think of right now...

Unfortunately, I’d have to disagree with this suggestion, for the reason below-

• This is a requirement for many servers, not just PartyZone. It’s to prevent things listed above happening. As well, why would we truly want our members to be supporting people we’re competing against? For example, in real life, if you’re on team France, in soccer/football/rugby whatever game you can imagine, but you’re supporting the team you’re playing against, you’d get a lot of downvote from that and can sometimes get fired from your job, if this fact is known about you- because it looks extremely bad for the team, but why would you work for a team if you don’t support it in the first place? Unless you support both, but you wouldn’t want to be too public about rooting for the team you don’t play for.

This isn’t just with in-game situations, it can actually happen in real life- as people fear that personal information is leaked, time devotion is poor, dedication is lacking, and etcetera. Yes, multiple people work multiple jobs, but sometimes, a lot of places prefer if you didn’t, especially if it’s a competing brand in your local area, and you may be forced to quit in certain jobs. You can even find this in certain contacts of employment. Not all, but these things do happen. It’s not just on this server.

Here’s a few reasons why I disagree with this suggestion:

1: Why would you apply to be staff on one server after you’ve been accepted to a position you worked extremely hard for on another? I don’t follow..

2: Let’s say you’re staff on two servers, one small server and one slightly bigger one. This could be a lot of work moderation and helping two servers, even if one isn’t as popular. You could get mixed up with ideas/suggestions, be on one server more than the other, and more.

I personally don’t agree with this, but that could just be me!

It's there to ensure PZ staff members are dedicated to PZ. If you don't want to resign, don't apply on MCPZ

Edit: Also, it'd be stressful and you won't even giving it your all. In a working situation, having 2 jobs is harder than 1 and you'll be more loyal to one
