Murder Reset the murder stats every 6 months/year?

It has come to my attention that getting up in the ranks is extremely hard so I have a proposal, reset the murder stats every half a year or year. It would make it more competitive and fun for newer players. I believe that around half of the higher ranking players do not play anymore and makes it harder for the newcomers.
 
-1 because people want there rank on there Murder Record.

I made a thread just like this a whiles back. Sadly this isn't need as I have noticed. Competition isn't always a good thing. Also ranks are just ranks nothing more nothing less. The system might be horrible in some ways yet it is what it is.
Look at this thread it might be what your looking for. It might take forever to rank up yet this will improve your rank or it will create experance from doing this with same leveled players.

-1 because I wouldn't want my 1/2 - 1 yr work gone. Sorry, but terrible idea.
 
My friend who joined 2 years after me is in the top 200, as well as this my alt is in the top 200 and it only has about 1000 games played, whereas I've been here for a while now and I'm only at rank gold, this goes to show that you don't need to be a long playing player to be able to get up the ranks. -1 from me as people have worked very hard to get where they are.

Ok then short term players can rank up. What about long term players? Just a through that is bugging me lol
