-Writes goodbye post-
"Man. I'm not gonna see MCPZ for a while."
-A few weeks later-
-Opens post-
"This thread has been locked and no replies have been made."
-Looks at another bois goodbye post-
-Everyone replies-
"Why is reputation a thing."

i mean if someone from 2015 makes a goodbye post compared to someone who joined this year/last year etc., people will probably know the 2015 player more often than not

People who have a higher reputation are more likely to get replies and views, since people know them and want to see what they have to say. OG players and (ex) staff members are obviously more likely to get replies + views because they would be well known.

Then that means reputation exists and everyone should treat each other as if they are a human being sitting next to them, but that's not the case. Jeesus Beesus what happened to the online community.
