This is my story, it is about a girl who can't remember anything and meets a guy who she falls in love with. This guy helps her remember.

I looked out the window to see the bustling streets of New York. Thousands of people walking or driving to their home, or work, or maybe even to the Hard Rock Café. I see the same people walk by my apartment window every single day, yet I don’t know any of their names. But then again, I don’t even know my name. I swear it is Sadie, but I can’t seem to remember. It’s a miracle for me even to recognize the same people walking by my apartment. I can’t hardily remember anything, yesterday, last week, last month. The one thing I truly remember is the place I live. A small apartment packed in to a huge apartment building in New York City. My room is barely half the size of some-one’s living room. Hah, my living room isn’t half the size of some-one’s living room, I guess it’s easier to clean. There is something off about my apartment though, nothing in the fridge, nothing in the pantry, no furniture in the rooms besides mine and the living room. I’m all alone and have basically an empty home. You see I would know why this is if I could only remember the days behind me. I walk over to the small space near the corner, this was where the bookshelf filled with books I loved stood. My favorites, the things I cared about most. Gone. You see I know what happened, but I can’t seem to remember. Why? The size of this apartment never bothers me, it’s the emptiness of it now. I walk from room to room searching for something, something that I know should be here. But it’s gone, gone along with every sole that lived in this house once before. I wandered out the door of my apartment searching, searching for something more. I left the apartment behind, forgetting about it altogether. Now I was outside the apartment door, in a long brightly lit hallway. This hallway led to a small staircase which later led to the doors to the outside. Stepping out, I felt the warm sun beating down on my skin, and a light breeze chilling my bones. People of all variations walking, driving, or even riding bikes back and forth through the streets and sidewalks. They all seemed determined, they looked like they were heading to a specific area. No-one paid attention to me, yet I paid attention to them. I was invisible to them, I could walk right past them and they wouldn’t acknowledge me. These are the only people nearby, and it’s like they don’t even see me. I walk to the nearest known place in my knowledge. “Rocky Road’s Ice cream,” the best ice-cream on the block. I normally get their special, Rocky Road ice-cream. I walk in and the door jingles as I open it.

“Well hello Sadie,” Mr. Road said. I knew my name was Sadie.

“Hello!” I boom as I walk in. I stop to get a whiff of the sweet smell of homemade waffle cones being made. There stood a woman about the size of “5 foot 5”. She had this disgusted look on her face. She was wearing a pink blouse, jeans, high heels, and a necklace. Her hair was in a tight bun. She was carrying this tan purse with a cute small dog inside.

“Ugh, what kind of name is Sadie?” she asked.

“I was just telling this……kind lady that I was not selling my shop.” Mr. Road said.

I noticed the way he hesitated before saying that she was a kind lady.

“Well you must sell it to me or else,” she demanded.

I got my ice-cream said bye and left before things got too crazy. The time seemed like it past an hour or two since I’d been entering the ice-cream shop. This is crazy, I mean I sat there eating my ice-cream by the outside door, then walked back in and threw it away. The sun had set, and the air grew colder and still chilled my bones harshly. I hear squeaky young teen girls’ voices in the background.

“Eek, he’s so cute!” I heard a girl squeaking.

They started into my view, inching forward. Everything turned dark, and I woke up on the sidewalk by the ice-cream shop. Everyone just walked past me. It was a memory of some sort. I got up and walked towards my apartment, I looked up into the window and saw a light on. I smiled and headed in, as I’m walking up the stairs I hear screaming from my apartment. My smile turns into a frown, I mope inside. The memory flashes away in a second and I’m standing on the sidewalk looking in the direction of the girls. As they approach they stop talking and stare at me, the girl on the left whispers into the other girl’s ear. I smile at them and say hello, the girl on the left laughs and they walk away. How rude I thought, when did people laugh at someone for just saying hello. I wonder into the streets as the sky turns dark, I really don’t want to go back to the apartment. I found a wallet earlier with a lot of money in it but, I decide I need a job. I look into my back pocket and find 20 bucks, that should be enough to buy some food.

I will be adding on to the story every tuesday heart it if you want to keep reading

I am so excited to post chapter 1 Tuesday, it is going to be so good! here is a spoiler
I wake up in a daze, it seems to have been yesterday that I was walking on the sidewalk thinking of a place to buy food. I ended up heading home because, as much as I wanted to stay away from the emptiness I felt, I had to face it head on. Here I am lying in bed thinking of what I am going to do, I am only eighteen yet, I have no one to comfort me, help me, not a single soul. I walk into the kitchen to find a piece of paper lying on the kitchen counter. My heart starts to pace. Budump, Budump, Budump, I collapse on the floor. Everything goes dark.
