While the game is playable... it is not enjoyable.
Which is why I am suggesting these changes. There is the reason that most games are not in full 15 player as I assume was the intention of Murder v2. In my opinion the Murder v2 upgrade was to make it more casual which didn't sit right with a lot of players. These changes I feel will make murder more creepy as well better for the player's experience.
Gun Mechanic:
Currently our gun system is pretty much rng to sum it up. There is no skill to it as well it simply doesnt feel smooth. The goal here is to get a system that operates as before but is not going to make the experance a competitive one.
My idea here is to reimplement the orginal gun system but with a small twist. When collecting 5 emeralds you gain only 1 bullet. You can either shoot it and then get 1 emerald to get another bullet or get 2 emeralds for a second bullet. Maybe a 3rd bullet?
...
Knife Change:
Simply put back the orginal angle and feel of the knife as it seems not natural for a knife to go straight without a curve. And I miss the hissing sound .w.
Possibly knife usages could be limited.
...
Hit-Boxes:
The hit boxes feel too large and makes it pretty unfair against murderer or bystander as it usually goes straight into the player. Correct me if I am wrong but it doesnt seem like a fun environment without the ability to run away from the murderer.
...
Nametags/ murder sprint idea:
Now I personally love the name tags but after some thinking it makes more sense to remove with as the game doesnt feel complete and less of a scarey environment. A idea could be if a group of players are together the murderer could sense it from whatever distance *2 players in a 3 block distance*
If nametags stay I would suggest to limit the murderer's ability to sprint to A stop people from instantly exposing themselves as murderer and B to make the game slower with a nice pace.
Small little features:
- Re-Implement tab name (YOU)
- Increase waiting time, it doesn't give you a chance to chill out.
Any other suggested qol would be much appreciated.
