Seriously, USE IT just I don't wanna be in that messy discord (sorry) just use the HOME PAGE its annoying -.-

Well. The home page shows all new major important things going on (Like Emotes, Discord vs TeamSpeak, ect). For stuff like new Helpers and Builders that's not really that important for a whole thread to be created about (Maybe if it was mass amount of new staff then sure). But other than that, thats what the Home page is used for. Its a quick way to show users whats going on.

Now if you would like to elaborate what you would like the home page to be used for. Please by all means do so.

I think what they are trying to say is make the forums a better line of communication. I completely agree with that. I have to go through so many places to see what I am looking for. By this I mean the announcement section, the dev logs, events, or some other place. I think a better line of communication or navigation to the information is very needed. At the moment it is quite a mess mostly with new players. Look into it as a player who just joined forums.

Adding too much to the homepage is harmful as sometimes very important messages are on there ( such as the privacy alert). I rather not see a new event or giveaway but important information.
so -1 to that idea.
...
The best idea is to make everything into 4 sections News, Community, Feedback/suggestions, Report/appeal

A lot of things in Partyzone Minecraft server section is a bit pointless, such as build feedback and build submissions. As well General server discussion I would assume it would go to Community but I don't really see the point there.

I hope this helps what you are intending to have happen. It makes things a little easier to find, as well getting rid of some sections or moving them to a better place.

I completely agree with this. If changed, I think it should go as: New, Feedback/suggestions, report/appeal and then community, since the community section is the least important out of the four. I've had many players tell me that they never knew the report/appeal section existed, and I find it kind of strange that it's at the bottom of the page, below the community section, because you would think that reports/appeals would be more important than the community section.

As for the actual suggestion, not everything needs to go on the home page, but I agree that some things would worth being put there (mainly developer logs). As @TimeLord said, we don't want to clog up the home page with unneeded announcements and flood out all the important information.

I don't think even this is necessary, depending on what you mean by a mass amount of staff. I just don't think it's necessary to have a whole thread about 10-15 new staff members.

Like, I did not even know about the E+ updates, creative improvements such as armourstand improvements, /rename /rainbow or any new perks, we need a summary for 2018 updates, that is all.

Exactly why we should put developer logs on the home page.
