Do you ever do a roleplay or something else where you want others to be able to add or ban people to/from the plot? I think /plot admin {username} would be helpful so that people could be added while the owner is away (for a roleplay or something). The thing for /plot moderator would be
*Be able to add people to a plot
*Be able to unadd people from the plot

And for /plot admin they would
*Be able to add people to a plot
*Be able to unadd people from the plot
*Be able to deny people from the plot

Let me know what you think or if you catch anything that could be wrong with it. Comments please!

This has been suggested many time before and a lot of players liked the suggestion. However, this suggestion has Moderators and Admins, while the other suggestion only has a Co-Owner. In my opinion these threads are exactly the same (excluding the 'plot ranks') and I prefer the Mod/Admin idea more, than the Co-Owner idea. If you are interested in reading some players' thoughts on the other suggestion, please click here. I do want to see this implemented in Creative so I'm giving it a +1. (But in the future, please check if there are any similar suggestions to your ideas, before posting a thread about it.)

The Admin could add players without the Owners consent and possibly end up just totally flooding the player list on the plot. Not everyone is trustworthy and if you make the wrong person an Admin, you darn diddily screwed up m8.

This could be used to have more plots per person. I'm my opinion, that wouldn't be good.

I love the idea so for now I'm +0

This is a good idea,
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT
Some Admins or Moderators could add someone and this someone could grief the plot and the the plot ends and then khchqeiuirhiuvhdfiucbhhcuishriveivievgivecni
I'm +0 for now,but it has a good intention, but unfortunately we have some people that aren't so trustworthy :c

It's the owner's job to know who he/she can trust. So if they actually do something unecessary to the plot it's the Owner's fault for promoting that person to plot admin/moderator.

You can't assume once someone is an okay person to you for a long time that they won't change. You pretty much summed up what I said in the second sentence.

The part about allowing to add and unadd people is a bit iffy

  • Works great for people who are your best friends or siblings or which ever close tie you want to place in this role
  • But this is also great for trolls to gain trust, then abuse said trust.
Then there is the ability to deny people
  • Marked users can remove any players who are being toxic, or breaking the rules marked on the plot
  • But they can also abuse this power, and while it can be easily reversed, this could possibly strain relations between people.
The thing about suggestions like this that always bothers me is that I am not quite sure if the implications are even possible to truly solve. Like with having the ability for the owner of the plot to add people, it's great and all, but it leaves room for misplaced trust and destroyed builds. Adding more commands of similar or additional power would bring that double edged sword to a further state of existence.

It'd be convenient for those who have friends that seriously don't intend on causing an issue, but what if they don't mean to add a griefer to the plot? What if instead of the plot owner adding a griefer, a plot moderator/admin honest to goodness got tricked or pressured or etc. into adding them. That being said, cases like that may end up few and far between.

I just came here to point out implications of how these kinds of command suggestions can negatively impact the server. That being said I really don't think these issue will come up much. But do keep in mind, given the general age demographic of the server, you never really know what can happen.
