PartyZone Olympic Games

Hello everyone, I have a suggestion that may be really good for the community

I have been a massive stadium over the past few weeks and already it looks good with a capacity of 300 players. The stadium itself is blue and purple with (to match PZ's colour and its night time feeling)

Since I've been building this stadium, I came up with an idea of hosting an Olympic Games on the server as a great idea for those who would like to compete fairly for fun and medals!

I will be releasing a rule book on the Olympics (PZ rules apply as well) to make the games fair and simple. Over the coming weeks, the Olympic Park will be completed and that the events are shown here..

- Athletics (Track Racing)
- Archery
- Boat Race
- Build Battle
- Curling
- Swimming
For such instances, Never Have I Ever may be added later if there's popular demand. Other events like horse racing or PvP won't be implemented as Survival Mode isn't available on Creative.

This suggestion just seems to be you advertising your build, imo.
Putting that aside, I don't think this would be a good event. (Also, you are supposed to suggest events on the event suggestion thread, link here)

Nevertheless, I think a PartyZone Olympic Games would be really fun and a great way to get involved with the community!

Considering we have been updated to version 2, this would be a good start for the community. Any player (rank or no rank, staff or non-staff) can get involved!

If this was to become an official PZ event, you wouldn't be judging it, unless you're in the event team... It would be the event team judging it. If you want to host it for all of the community, then it can't be an official event, since staff + event team members can't participate in events.

Staff members can take part in most of the Olympic events. Only a handful of Event Team members should be judging (about 4 judges). This is a community event that would spread over 5 days (almost like the real thing). I won't be judging it as that's down to the judges as I said earlier.

I'm hoping to organise an Olympic Commitee on PZ so that members, staff members and event teams can input their ideas for the Games (subject to approval) and that everyone is allowed to take part.

You suggested this to be an official PZ event and, as an ex-event team member, I am telling you that event team members and staff members don't participate in events. Take Buildbattle as an example. Even if they aren't a judge, they can not participate unless there is a twist.
