A simple on paper change, when dragging people with you to games, especially in parties, there is a chance that your party members, especially in larger parties, can be left out. That's no fun!
This can be caused by: Having the game throw your party into a game that does not have enough open slots, or, it does have enough slots, but with party joining, members, especially in large parties, join in one by one, but players can join in too fast to allow your party to finish getting in
My solution is for games to passively be aware of the size of the party, and actively reacting to this by placing the party in a game accordingly, then reserve the needed slots until the connections are confirmed or denied by all members of the party.
Sounds simple in writing, but I feel like this could be a very challenging thing to add. But I would like to say it could be worth it to get your whole party in a game of freeze tag (or ditto, if your party is small enough for that)
Either way at the end of the day, when this is implemented, it will make playing with friends much better than it is today.
