Optifine settings

So, you know how optifine makes your game less laggy right?
What settings are we allowed to turn on and off?
Edit: Here are some examples:
Smooth World and the Biome settings etc.

Heem, Optifine only changes optimization and graphic settings, I'm pretty sure you're allowed to use all of them because there is no advantage in having better looking grass, Tress, Etc.

No like there is an option called 'Smooth World' and apparently it makes the biomes smooth.

I think Smooth World is fine, as there's no restrictions within Optifine being allowed.

What about the other biome settings? Like rain off etc.

There shouldn't be anything in Optifine that would give you an unfair advantage in game, such as the enhanced graphics it gives you. Rain off and such may reduce lag but that is not an unfair advantage/cheat.
