Rejected Nerf strength stimpacks

Right now strength stimpacks are why to op you can two or one shot someone.

Elites and up are able to beta test the game. It is being revamped and revived as of now by the fabuloos Harieo.

As for the suggestion yes, they're way too overpowered.

Strength Stimpacks currently give the effect Strength I for 15 seconds... The only way I can see nerfing this is reducing the time you can have it but I'm not sure it would make a difference.

How would people prefer me to go about it?
We have reducing the time they last for or removing them completely :p
 
This thread was made when they were strength II, I haven't play much with the strength I version so I can't say if it needs to be nerfed more.

We'll wait for the beta to be fixed and see if changes still need to be made then :p

Seeing as I was here when the old Survival games were out I feel my opinion on this is relevant. They were never strength stimpacks in the first version of SG I don't believe but there were regen stimpacks. I don't know if strength stimpacks were ever considered for the first SG, but if they are too OP these new ones I would possibly remove them.

I think removing them would possibly make the game less fun and prolonged, also kinda makes you just expect what's in the chests.

SG was fine without them before and nuking people down with two shots isn't fun. Although I would prefer to see the strength stimpacks turned into Regen Stimpacks like they had in the old SG

In my personal opinion I prefer strength pots and 2 shots because there is always going to be those mixes and honestly I don't like long term battles. Long term is simply put more work out of a fun and enjoyable game. There are going to be those over powered kits and the other kits.

The original Survival Games lasted more than a half hour. Major networks have turned it into an arcade game.

Don't know what your trying to say sorry. Sure a game can last about half a hour yet I am talking about battles 1v1s or 1v1v1s. Yea not a lot of people play sg because of how old it is. Can't believe it's already been that long. One second it's the best thing in the world so many servers had it then it vanished and is rarely played on servers.

Oh, you said long term battles, not games. Oops, my bad. I agree, then, long-term battles with constant healing breaks can make for a difficult game and unforgiving for beginners.

It might be easier if I just show you the video of the old sg as I'm not gonna be able to get my point across otherwise. Strength Stimpacks were not used only regen stimpacks. It still worked well and there were not long term battles.

I had never played the old SG so I can't really say anything about that :)
 
No problem :D I'm just saying it worked well with regen stimpacks instead of strength so I thought they could try that instead
Maybe the strength was added to counter the effect regen had in battles. Regen normally prolongs fights while strength gets them done quickly. High risk short fight if both users have strength

It was @Harieo s idea and I don't believe he knew about the old regen till I told him because he wasn't here when old sg was up. But due to weapons and things fights wouldn't take that long believe me. Regen would be better than strength.
