So I'm gonna tell you.

I've been to many skincomps before, and I've seen lots of people lose. But I've seen some people complain that Skincomp is "judgy" and "overjudged", and overall judgemental over your skin.

Cause when I lose, this is what goes in my head:
"Oh god... Is my skin bad? Maybe they're a bad judge...or something...".

I know it's for fun, but I TPA just for the fun of getting judged.
Because I have no life.

Skincomps, overall have irritated me, and little do I know, some Skincomp owners make their friend win, like an insanely detailed cat vs a red skin. The red skin would win cause that's the owner's friend.

Why aren't people fair I get frustrated, we all deserve to play equally. This is just a game, entertaining us.

Now, onto roleplay.

Roleplay is my first most common thing for me to do, and sometimes, I run into some kids who literally go God-Mode. Let's set up some scenarios, no?

Kid: -Dodges and backflips and ninja jumps on neck and electrocutes.-
Me: What. The. Actual. Fork. [AKA Rage.]

Kid: =Dodges attacks over and over.=
Me: [Ok, can we kick this guy off the roleplay? They're being too overpowered.]

Me: --------------------------------------------

Overall:
Skincomps - Absolutely no.
Roleplay - Meh.

Vote in the poll.

You make a lot of good points, and I agree with everything you say, but I still go to skincomps and roleplays just because I have fun.

Obviously people are going to lose, there can only be one winner... It's all just based opinions. I don't understand why you keep going to skin comps if you hate losing

to be honest, and prepare for cringy complaining doge time, i hate skin comps.
my skin is pretty original, even if it is just a normal doge skin with edited eyes and a headset.
that's why it triggers me when every skin comp i go to has a generic boy/girl win somehow
most of them arent even good lol
so i've learned to start avoiding them as to not waste my time waiting 5 years for it to start and then immediately get out

It can be frustrating when you don't win a skin comp, but everyone has their opinions and they vary. I personally don't participate because I feel confident about my skin and I don't need other's opinions to validate or ruin those thoughts. My suggestion is simply to not participate in skin competitions as they can be frustrating.

I've personally never participated in a roleplay, but I can see the frustration.

I personally have attended skin comps for a bit of fun and never really took them seriously, however I completely agree with you in the fact that they can be regarded as judgy and a bit impulsive to some people. In no way should anyone feel their skin needs to be justified in a competition to be satified with it. Nonetheless, participating in a skin comp is completely voluntary, therefore no one is forced to take part. A vast majority of people enjoy participating and hosting skin comps for a bit of fun, hence I think they should last. If they are used to intentionally flame or distress others, then I acknowledge that they can easily be abused.

I don’t participate in roleplays, however I can apprehend how irritating it can be.

I've been in roleplays where people are just so... cringey, unoriginal, or get angry if you don't do EXACTLY what you want. It makes me laugh. Yes, it's always nice to go by a certain story, but really... Everything you want. Or the people that don't join the rp chats, and throw books at you and stuff. I used to love roleplays and skincomps, but now I just prefer to bond with the community,
