Murder Ranks

I just noticed today my rank goes up by 14 and my friends and cousin's ranks go up by like 100 - 1000 per game. I'm rank 4837. I know it's not because of the rank because my friends are still going up a lot and they're ranks 2746. Can anyone tell me why and how this happens? Thanks

No idea, I'm 920-something and I recall seeing someone go from 1000+ to 620 in 5 games.

It probably has something to do with Win/Loss ratios and previous Win Streaks, I've gone up by 10 if I shoot the murderer/win as murderer 10+ times in a row.
