Your Fish Tank
DizzyBonnett POV-

I let out a shuddering breath as I let Fox drag me on through the dark tunnel, breathing back in cold damp air.
Slowly, but surely, he let go of me as I was able to walk properly. I'm not saying I'm one of those girls, the ones that faint at the sight of blood and things, it's just Sophie was my friend. Obviously I'm going to be shocked to witness it.
Almost robotically, I slandered along the corridor until I spotted something glinting in the distance.
I gasped, "Fox! Look!"
I heard a faint gasp from him too as we jogged up to the glistening object- an emerald. It lay on the floor, greener than grass, staring innocently up at us.
"So um…" I started off awkwardly.
"You take it. I already found one at the start." Fox finished.
"But…" I half-heartedly expressed.
"Diz. Just take it. You need it more than I do." He ordered. Fox looked kinda hot when he did that… All bossy and such…
I mentally shook my head, reaching down to pick it up. It was heavy and cold, laying in my hand as I tried to one-handedly open my leather backpack. I placed it near the bottom next to my book then closed the clasp, swinging it over my shoulder again.
I stood up, jumping, then jogged after Fox who had already started walking away again. I rolled my eyes, "Gee thanks for waiting."
He didn't reply, just staring at me weirdly, then facing the seemingly endless tunnel.

Finally, there was another place to go; forked paths.
I turned around, looking back down where we came from, wondering if the new paths will be as long as the one we just came from.
"Well," I started, turning around again, "I think we should…" My voice died.
Staring back at me was empty space, Fox had disappeared.
I rolled my eyes, Typical. I thought to myself. Now… Which side to choose…
Just as I was about to turn to the left, I heard a bloodcurdling scream. I started backwards, the sound emitting straight ahead of me, from the right path.
"Fox" I whispered, eyes wide. I started running down the tunnel path, not caring if anyone heard me. I just had to get there.
My footsteps echoed like drums around me, matching to the beat of my thumping heart.
I cried out in dismay as I reached the end of the corridor. It was a dead end.
I swore loudly, before slumping down and hitting my head against the cool cobble wall.
Something shifted and I nearly fell forward onto my face, but my hands jumped out quick enough to block out the fall. My nose was literally two centimetres away from the dusty floor. I jumped up and took it in… It was a… secret passage. My eyes widened as the cobble wall I had been leaning on had disappeared completely, leaving a small bright area in it's midst. Obviously the light there was emitting from another room close by. I took a tentative step forward, almost squealing when the wall went back into place behind me.
I shook my head, thinking about how I needed to hurry up and find Fox and jogged forward. I didn't need to go far; I came towards a ledge that dropped into another room. I looked around the room; not anything really special or useful to me. There was a massive hole in the floor, I think there was a computer and a pole emitting from the roof that looked like a… never mind.
Obviously the room had been abandoned like the other one Fox and I saw; -dirty encrusted floor -randomly sprouting plants -broken furniture. I wondered what had happened to the place…
I was still looking around when something caught my eye, something red… Blood. It was a trail leading outside the door. My eyes widened, before glancing around to find a way down.
When I found no means of getting down, I sighed and prayed to Aventa that I wouldn't break my legs.
"3… 2… 1…" I jumped off the ledge landing like a cat, but when I tried to stand up I tripped over a rock and fell forward, face first in a tuff of grass. I sat up, spitting the blades of grass out of my mouth, silently thanking who ever was out there that no one saw that. I could imagine my friend Emo call me a cow if he was with me when that happened.
I stood up jumping, before running out of the door. I followed the trail of blood down a set of corridors… It went forward, then left… Forward… Then right… How far was this…
I was just about to turn another corner when my gaze fell upon a light mass on the floor…
Fox. I fell forward onto my knees, picking him by the shoulders and pulling him onto my lap. I looked at his lifeless visage and felt my eyes start to water.
"Fox, Fox, Fox, Fox…" I let out, whispering. "Why did you run off… I always tell you to stay by me…" I let out a little laugh, tears flowing freely now, "It's like your my dog. I have to keep a leash on you or you'll get into trouble." I babbled out, feeling a faint hysteria come upon me.
"Oh Fox…" I gazed at his face pulling a strand of dark brown hair out of his eyes. I leaned forward and ghosted a kiss on his forehead, "I'll get them for you. I'll win for you."
I let him down slowly, as if he were still alive, and stood up.
A rush of anger flowed into me. I was furious.
