DizzyBonnett POV-
Fox and I padded along the tunnel, wandering around searching for another way out.
"I'm sure it wa-" I started. We had been talking about the eyes I saw. I was certain they were the murderers, if not, why did they run away? Why didn't they speak? It was all very suspicious.
"Shhh…" Fox interrupted, his ears pricking up. I glared at him but listened around.
My eyes widened, faint voices could be heard.
We turned the next corner cautiously, and saw bars replace the wall. On the other side of the bars, we could both see a dim light room, that looked as if it had been abandoned for years. Plants sprouted out of the ground, a broken pipe had made a small pond and the walls were caked with dirt.
But that wasn't what was surprising; it was the collection of people there.
Sarah was huddled in the corner, Adam was leaning against the wall, Absol was sitting on top of a glass case, Sophie was standing up looking worried and Fairy was jumping around.
"It's not me! I swear!" Sarah cried out.
I looked over at Fox worriedly, but he was watching he scene unfold before us with earnest.
"All the evidence leads to you." Adam said lazily, flicking off a piece of dirt from his iron gun.
"But, but-" Sarah glanced around like a maniac, trying to find supportive faces. "Ask Fairy! I was with her the whole time!"
Everyone looked over to Fairy, who was jumping around wildly sprouting weird sentences and shooting in random directions.
"Yes." Adam replied dryly, "That's very convincing."
"Guys… I'm really sure she's innocent." Sophie mumbled. "It doesn't matter if she doesn't have a gu-"
"We saw her emerge from the tunnels where God's body was. It's obviously her." Absol interrupted, glaring at Sarah.
She looked over to Adam, "Shoot her."
He glanced at her with a glaring expression, "Now why should I do that. I'm not stupid."
"Shoot her, now. Or are you too much of a wimp?" Absol asked, smirking at him.
Adam scowled at her, gritting his teeth. "Fine."
Sarah's eyes widened, "No-"
He pulled his gun out aiming it at Sarah, I pulled in a breath with wide eyes.
"Ow…" Fox whispered. I looked down and realised I was squeezing his hand too hard. I let go immediately, whispering a small sorry before looking back.
Sarah held a hand out, "Sto-"
He pulled the trigger, the bullet flying with a bang.
Sarah was huddled in the corner with her arms folding protectively around her head. I saw her eyes poke out through her arms when she realised she hadn't died.
She gulped in air and gazed down onto the ground crying out.
Sophie was lying on the floor, face down. Blood seeped out from somewhere underneath her body.
I realised with a horrified start that she had jumped in front of the bullet to save Sarah.
A hand grabbed me, pulling me away from the bars.
"Come on." Fox said gruffly, leading me back into the darkness.

The dust cleared and there seemed to be a collective gasp from the small audience.Sarah was huddled in the corner with her arms folding protectively around her head. I saw her eyes poke out through her arms when she realised she hadn't died.
