Lost in Pixels - Chapter 1

Omg I've legit had so much fun planning out this story, I'm so excited to get into the first chapter!

"Oh god, where are we? what happened?" Asks Max. "My head hurts" complains Trixibelle. "Hurry up! the race is about to start!" Demands Toadette. "Get in your carts!" screams Mario. "Mario kart?" asks Asuka, confused. "Sweet! I'm the boss at mario kart!" Mariana replies happily before jumping into her cart. The others carefully climb into their carts. They watch Lakiti float down on his cloud, they read his board. "3, 2, 1, GO!" All the characters set off.

Wolf's engine blows and she gets stuck behind everyone. Meanwhile, Mariana runs through a mystery box, "Red shell? nice" Mariana throws the shell, Mariana watches as the shell sneaks up behind Kaya. Kaya notices the shell and starts to drive super fast, slamming her into a wall. Everyone passes Kaya as some stop to laugh. Meanwhile, Eniu and Mariana are competing for first place but at that moment, they slip on bananas and Trixibelle slides up into first place.

Max approaches Toadette, with a plan, he grabs a mystery box and gets a lightning. Instead of shrinking everyone, he pops Toadette's tire! She slows down, just managing to finish her first lap. They all zoom past the corner at lightning speed, but Asuka slows down and notices that Kaya hasn't moved, she goes and sees if she's ok but she gets a message through her headset "AND MARIANA IN FIRST PLACE!" She hears, she quickly gets back in her kart and zooms off. Mariana passes the finish line, Trixibelle behind her, then Eniu, then Luigi, Then max, Then Wolf with Peach close behind her, then Mario shortly after her. As Asuka drives to the finish line, she sees Toadette still stuck with a flat tire, she gives Toadette a lift. "AND ASUKA THEN TOADETTE, WHICH MEANS KAYA LOSES!". Everyone cheers as they didn't lose the race. But then, the NPCs start to glitch and disappear. Kaya walks to the finish line. "Guys, what happened? my leg, i think its broken" Kaya cries. A weird weather pattern starts to happen in the sky. A huge blue swirl comes down and sucks everyone up, except Kaya. They all fall into this large room with screens all around them with different games on them. "Welcome" says Sakaida, "Seven survivors" Sakaida adds. Everyone turns their heads to the screen where Kaya is "HELP" Kaya shouts. Sakaida walks up to a huge plug. "AU REVOIR" She shouts as she pulls the plug. The screen with Kaya on starts to turn black. "NO, NO, HELP!" Kaya shouts until her voice becomes nothing. "Whats next?" asks Sakaida. A swirl picks them up, which game is next and who will be next to go, game on.

Sorry if this seems rude but my character (and me) are Non-Binary (they and them)! But great story anyways, keep going just be of Wolf's gender.
