Before we begin, if you have seen a cartoon where a character is at a crossroad and the Angel and Demon appear...you will understand, if you haven't, you can still read, but might wanna watch one of those to get the idea of what I am talking about.
Anyways, when I talk about Good and Bad, Peace and Destruction, and Ethereal vs. Illusion. I'm talking about the Angel and the Demon.
Now, our Demon "friend" and our Angel buddy, they are your inner conscience, they stand for Good and Bad. The Demon...is not the good one...it says to you things like...
You will NEVER be good enough.
You are disgusting, no one would care if you died.
You are a disappointment to everyone, if you his your face away, everything beautiful would live again, because they dont have to see your ***** face.
Your parents never loved you.
Now...I don't really know about you...but I do not want to listen to those thoughts. Yet, a lot of people do, and when we get hurt when it does it once...why do we listen to it twice? Because it degrades us, and that's why we ironically trust the demon. But then...there's the Angel
The Angel is the good side, the pure, happy, beautiful side. The Angel and Demon fight A LOT. But...just because the Demon is saying things...does not mean you have to listen to the Demon. The angel is sweet, kind, and caring. It says things like...
You look...beautiful today! You should wear your favorite hoodie! You need to feel like Royalty. Oh, and tell that girl over there that her dress is so beautiful, She will love that.
Now...I know it's hard for you...this looks really bad...and a lot of homework...but you've done so much before, you've got this!
Hey...I know it's hard since your Dad died...but...you are strong...you can make it through this...it won't hurt like this forever...I promise...

That's who I want to listen to. The Angel, I am DONE listening to the Demon, I am DONE with negative things the Demon says to me. The Demon never goes away, just like the Angel. But...the Demon can be put on mute, I only wish to hear the Angel. And you should as well, Let your Angel shine, Let your Angel love, let your Angel overpower your Demon.
