Five.
Several people had begun glancing at each other with unspoken words.
Four.
Dizzy and Fox gave slight grins at each other.
Three.
Emo and Liv exchanged nods, eyes focusing on the center once more.
Two.
Sarah and Sophie glanced over at each other, matching eyes for a brief moment before turning back to the island.
One.
Booneh and Avent met gazes with unspoken words crossed.
Go.
I didn't take any hesitation, taking off the side, taking slight pain as I managed to land on a Lilly pad, placing my hands on the green, floating leaf and propelling myself forward, giving a small growl as Dragazo tried to shove me into the water.
Typical him, huh?
I avoided the aggressive antics, ducking and swerve across the other pads, before touching with the cool grass center, not being the first one.
I threw open the chest, quickly grabbing the good loot that I could.
I turned out with a bow, sixteen arrows, a jump and speed stimpact, and a few wheat.
I scanned the surroundings quickly, looking for Jack. I quickly saw him jumping towards the stone brick surrounding, climbing up the ladder. I pushed myself over the chest, ramming past Liv, who gave me an annoyed, moo-like sound.
Ignoring the mosh room skinned female, I hopped across the Lilly pads, catching the ladder and dragging myself up, casting a small glare at Jack, who was searching through a chest nearby like a pig.
I rolled my eyes, nudging him to the side and grabbing some arrows before he had a chance. "Thanks for waiting," I muttered, and he gave an innocent shrug, tossing me a leather helmet, which he had a chain one.
"Any weapons? I've just got the bow." I inquired of the fellow Umbreon creature, pulling my regular bow out. A voice suddenly boomed above, causing us to jump slightly.
Grace period has ended.
I could hear fighting quickly, and I glanced at Jack, who pulled out a wooden axe, not handing me anything. I assumed he only had that.
I gulped, hearing a cannon fire.
I scanned the horizon for any sign of enemies, or even life, noticing four figures.
Emo had extended his arms, shielding a figure behind him which I recognized as Liv. Booneh and Avent were cautiously approaching, both holding a weapon of some sort. Avent seemed to own a wooden sword, meanwhile Booneh was wielding what appeared to be a stone axe.
Emo was backing up, holding an object that I couldn't see. I could predict what was coming.
I shook my head, grabbing Jack's arm and pulling away, refusing to see what I imagined could be a gruesome sight.
He willingly came, shaking his head as well. Two cannons exploded above us, their blast echoing throughout the small arena. I shivered, gripping my bow tighter. A tower had soon spiraled in the distance, and we quickly approached, sniffing through any chests we found.
We were about to climb back up, when a voice chirped in behind us.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
I turned sharply, anxiously pressing my hand into the bow for comfort, met with slight discomfort worming its way.
ScottZ, known as Scott to us, was leaning against the post, Dragazo next to him, each wielding a sword of some sort. I felt Jack tense up next to himself, raising the measly wooden axe a bit.
Scott let out another chuckle. "Another little team? Shame, should've seen how George squawked when we cornered him," he grinned evilly, and I narrowed my eyes in anger.
I could picture the sign clearly, my friend brutally harassed and murdered by these two, but I had nothing but my bow.
Dragazo chimed in, "It was a really fowl death!" He giggled, and Scott rolled his eyes.
"No, just no, Drag." He sighed, shaking his head a bit and placing his free hand against his face, gripping the sword an even amount. If I felt cocky enough I could charge them while they were distracted and steal the iron sword from Scott, but I was too nervous.
Jack suddenly grabbed my arm, rushing up the steps and stumbling. I heard another chuckle from below.
"You can't hide forever! You'll die if you try to escape from up there!" Scott chirped, and I heard him mutter to Dragazo, "Stay here, don't let them out."
I quickly threw open chests, met with items that were useless for the situation. We needed good weapons, and armor.
We stumbled to the top floor, throwing open the last chest, pulling out a stone axe and stone sword. I passed off the axe, gulping quietly and glancing towards the entrance.
We had a major disadvantage. Scott was sneaky, tricky, well armored and well equipped. This would be a close match.
I closed my eyes, letting out a quick, nervous breath of air, opening them, ready to seek revenge for my fallen comrade George and assist Jack to the end.

Above the center, a virtual, blocky number counter began counting down.
