Jack narrowed his eyes, as if not believing her, but motioned towards the steps. "We have to get Scott's loot, quickly. Dragazo might be down there still." He explained, holding his sword and cautiously edging down the spiraling steps, his free hand brushing against the pillar that held it in place.
Once the last few blocks were in place he hopped down and examined the loot. "Wait, some of it is missing." He halted, raising his sword a bit and glancing around. Two figures were crouching behind a tree.
"There," he whispered, pointing towards the two figures, which seemed unaware of the present two others.
I gripped my axe, nodding slightly and scattering towards the side. I stepped on some leaves, cringing as I realized they heard.
The two shadowy players jolted alive, swirling away from Jack, who was seconds away from getting them. He gave me an accusing look before taking off after them, myself following.
The chase continued until we met a cliff. The two turned, both wielding swords, the one on the left stone and the other iron.
"Liv? Emo?" Jack echoed in disbelief.

Absol stumbled slightly, leaning against a pillar, a dulling pain in her side. Jack turned, glancing at her. "You okay?" He inquired, and she just shook her head and gave a small smile. "I'm fine."
