I was talking to a Swedish friend of mine, and she told me how she forgot to change her minecraft languages from Swedish back to English. Alas, I came up with this idea.
Something that could help Non-English tongue's.

Concept:
Possibly a command (/language) that allows players to change their language*, and on first ever join screen, they have the option to set their default language (can be changed later). Also, maybe on the forums something similar, like under a the menu when you hover over your name (the right hand corner) you can select 'Language' and select from a variety of them.
How it is useful:
Many players on the server aren't solely English-speakers, but speak many different languages. Those players would be able to see menu screens in a variety of languages, and hopefully understand the games better.
Cons:
A few larger servers do have this in play, but it is very helpful for those who use it. Also, google translate can't get everything right, so instead of using that, we could get people from the community who speak different languages to help out.

*this is NOT talking about changing chat messages, but only the menus.

This could also help the staff that can only speak english so they can catch the bad guys.

Isn't it kind of hard to just do ALL languages? I mean, you can also learn about english like this becouse of the chat.

Of course it would be hard to do all of the languages. I'm suggesting the most popular first (English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Swedish and Japanese seem very popular) and slowly expand to different ones (French, German and Russian to name a few). Some players do learn English because of the chat, yes, but it is very hard. Try joining an Italian server without knowing a single word in Italian! It is possible, and I have seen people do it, but it takes mass amounts of time. Also, I'm not talking about chat translating. Simply menus, i.e the /friend list instead of saying "Amandq is currently in Creative" it could be (if your language is toggled to French) "Amandq actuellement en Créatif"

Not necessarily, no. I'm not talking about the player's chat translating, although it is an excellent add-on, that would take a lot of time and work to code. Once again, I'm simply talking about menus changing to be language friendly.

This really could help out the community as I have seen tons of players who don't understand a lot of things such as the games. Also the fact that it could bring a lot more diversity to our server. Wonderful Idea Amanda looking forward to a lot more ideas <3
